Its reflective metallized polyester film blocks UV rays and is laminated to thin closed-cell foam with a clear polyester film backing.
Non-abrasive velour binding lines the edges. The shade is computer-cut for fit and flexes around a rearview mirror or safety sensors. It helps reduce dashboard-area interior heat, keeping leather seats, the steering wheel and shift knob cooler.
