A reflective metallized polyester film is laminated to thin closed-cell foam with a clear polyester film backing. Non-abrasive velour binding is stitched around the edges.
The insulating shade helps reduce interior heat, protect leather seats from heat and cracking, and keep the steering wheel and shift knob comfortable to touch. Computer-aided cutting provides a precise fit. To install it, lay it across the dash, lift it to the windshield and lower the sun visors to hold it in place. The flexible shade bends under or around a rearview mirror or safety sensors.
