The Autel AutoLink AL439 is a 2024 OBD2/EOBD code reader and electrical testing tool in the Diagnostic and Test Tools category. It supports all 10 OBD II test modes and works with most OBD II and CAN domestic and import vehicles from 1996 onward, including models from Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet, Ford, Benz, Jeep, BMW, Nissan, VW, Audi, and GMC.

Its patented One-Click I/M Readiness Key checks emissions readiness and verifies drive cycles. Color-coded LEDs, a built-in speaker, and a TFT color display provide visual and audible status information. The tool reads generic P0, P2, P3, and U0 codes; manufacturer-specific P1, P3, and U1 codes; and pending codes.

It can identify the cause of a Check Engine Light, clear codes, turn off the light, reset monitors, and display monitor and I/M readiness status. It reads live PCM data, live O2 sensor data, freeze-frame data, and vehicle VIN, CIN, and CVN information; it also graphs data on compatible 1996 and newer vehicles.

Troubleshooter code tips support diagnosis, while memory and battery backup allow off-vehicle review. Menus and trouble-code definitions include English, Spanish, and French. The AL439 supports internet updates and printing through a PC. For electrical checks, its AVOmeter reads voltage and resistance.

It tests circuits, diodes, 12V starting and charging systems, and the condition of discharged batteries. Its load-free battery test covers most 12v Regular, AGM, AGM/Spiral, and Gel batteries and supports CCA, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, SAE, IEC, and EN ratings. The measurement instructions are: 1. Test AC or DC voltage; above 30V may damage the tool. 2.

Test resistance between circuit points; above 50 ohms displays 0L. 3. Measure current from 0A to 20A; above 20A may damage the tool. 4. Test diodes with the probes connected to the battery terminals correctly.
