Overview: AUMUME's 9 Inch Double-DIN head unit runs Android 12 on a 4 Core 1.5GHz CPU with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, designed as a drop-in upgrade for Jeep Grand Cherokee 1999-2004. The 9-inch IPS touchscreen features 2.5D glass that’s anti-scratch and shatter-resistant, with a 1280*720P resolution and wide viewing angles for clear, vibrant display from any seat. Connectivity and phone integration: Supports both wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto. The unit includes built-in WIFI6 with dual-band support for 5Ghz and 2.5GHz, improving wireless CarPlay stability and reducing latency. Use your original USB data cable to connect Apple or Android phones to sync apps, run navigation, make hands-free calls, send/receive SMS, and stream music or podcasts. Mirroring and online apps: Android/iOS mirror link is supported via the original data cable to display phone content (video, maps, menus, APKs) on the radio screen. With WiFi or a phone hotspot you can access online services and install APKs such as YouTube, Spotify, Netflix, Waze, and Maps. GPS is built in for online or offline navigation with real-time traffic. Installation and rear camera: The unit uses vehicle-specific connectors for plug-and-play, non-destructive installation — no wire cutting required. It supports AHD high-definition rearview cameras at 720P 25 frames/30 frames and 1080P 25 frames/30 frames, plus standard CVBS signals. (The camera is in the package.)
