Gemini Jets 25353 Assorted ATR Model sku-14893956579

Gemini Jets model 25353 is an Assorted Diecast and Mini Vehicles listing for a new 1/200-scale ATR 42-500 Cubana aircraft, registration CU-T1240. The white model has a blue and red tail and belongs to the Gemini 200 series. It has a detailed exterior, no openings and a display stand. It comes in its original unopened box and is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts.

Approximate length is 4.5 inches, and wingspan is 4.75 inches. The model depicts an aircraft used in Cubana de Aviación's regional fleet. Cubana adopted the ATR 42-500 for regional service in place of older aircraft; the type could serve short routes and shorter runways.

CU-T1240 flew domestic routes linking Havana with cities including Santiago de Cuba, Holguín and Camagüey, as well as Caribbean routes to countries including Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Compared with earlier variants, the ATR 42-500 offered reduced noise and improved passenger comfort.

Its service supported travel to smaller destinations despite restrictions on aircraft parts and maintenance resources. SKU sku-14893956579; UPC 763116212513.
