100% "Raw" Argentine Bahia seed — untreated and not mixed with mulch or coated with chemicals. This Bahia selection originated in Argentina (South America) and was initially developed by a University for its forage-production qualities; it is also sometimes called "Argentina" Bahia. Very drought tolerant and deep-rooted, it offers exceptional resistance to disease and insects. The grass has broad, wide leaves and a richer, darker green color, making it especially attractive for lawns in Florida and other coastal southern states. It produces fewer "objectionable" seed heads than many other Bahia varieties and performs best in full sun.
