Aquatec ERP 1000 upgrade kit — the most popular permeate pump on the market for RO systems using membranes rated at 100 GPD or less. This non-electric, hydraulically powered pump uses the pressure from the reject (waste) water to relieve backpressure on the storage tank, reducing waste, raising delivery pressure, and improving overall system efficiency and water purity. Its 90% ASV (auto shut-off valve) fills the tank to 90% of incoming line pressure instead of the roughly 60% allowed by standard ASVs, increasing usable tank capacity. A low-cost alternative to electric boosters, it provides dramatic improvement for homes with borderline feed pressure (35–45 psi) and measurable benefits at higher pressures.
