Aqua Coat 300-700-03 White Gallon | sku-322220806 Filler

Aqua Coat White Cabinet Grain Filler Gel, model 300-700-03, is a water-based Specialty Paint product supplied in a White Gallon (128 oz). It fills open wood grain and seals pores before paint or lacquer, helping produce a smooth finish and reduce top-coat absorption. It is intended for woods including oak, ash, mahogany and walnut, and for cabinets, vanities, millwork and furniture.

The filler is compatible with oil-based and water-based primers, lacquers and paints, and can be mixed with water-soluble pigments or dyes. Aqua Coat describes its product line as low VOC, low odor, nonflammable, noncombustible, fast drying, easy to apply and sand, with good adhesion and water cleanup.

Work the filler into the grain against its direction using a small squeegee, blade, old credit card or gloved fingers, then scrape away excess with the grain. Let it dry 45-60 minutes. Lightly sand with 320-grit or finer sandpaper, or a fine Scotch-Brite pad, before the next application or the first coat of primer and paint.

The listing describes it for interior and exterior repairs, upgrades and restorations. SKU sku-322220806; UPC 653341611918.
