The fir retains its natural grain and scent, and the source describes it as releasing no harmful substances, including when used to prepare soil for edible plants. The metal top is waterproof, stain-resistant and wipeable or rinseable after planting; it is described as resistant to wear, rust and deformation from soil and moisture.
Side hooks hold tools, while back baffles help keep items on the lower shelves from tipping backward. The standing-height design is intended to reduce bending. It can also serve as a balcony plant stand, courtyard rack or indoor plant display. The range comes in Natural Wood, Gray and Brown.
