The conductor is built from individual copper strands that are tinned to withstand corrosive, harsh marine conditions. Its Ultra-flexible Type 3 stranding minimizes fatigue from vibration while offering enhanced corrosion protection. Insulation is a premium vinyl compound rated at 600 volts, 105 deg C dry and 75 deg C wet, and it remains pliable even in extreme cold (-40 deg F/C). The jacket resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion and ultra-violet radiation. Exceeds all UL 1426, US Coast Guard Charter boat (CFR title 46) and ABYC standards.
