This diesel truck scanner supports forced DPF regeneration, replacement and reset for Caterpillar and Cummins trucks. It scans the engine, ABS, transmission and fuel system; reads and clears fault codes; and includes DTC lookup, live data, I/M readiness, freeze frame, oxygen sensor and on-board monitor functions.
Regular DPF regeneration may help avoid an emergency forced regeneration cited as costing $200-300 and taking a few hours. The scanner supports HDOBD/OBD2 functions on compatible 12V and 24V trucks, with 6- and 9-pin truck connectors and a 16-pin OBD connector. Supported protocols include SAE J1939, SAE J1708, SAE J1850 PWM and VPW, ISO 14230-4, ISO 9141-2, ISO 15765-4 and ISO 27145-4.
It has fast and complete scan options, a 4.3-inch screen, 8G memory, an 8G TF card, 2.4G Wi-Fi, unit conversion and a horizontal button layout. Lifetime free Wi-Fi updates are included.
