The ANCEL BD300 is a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner in Diagnostic and Test Tools (sku-1715040566; UPC 774491721255). It reads vehicle systems covering the engine and transmission, chassis and brakes, body electronics, restraints, charging and electrical controls. Its full-system coverage and free maintenance functions for BMW Group vehicles include battery registration, service and oil-light resets, EPB brake-pad service and throttle matching. The tool can retrieve ABS codes; an ABS diagnosis should also begin with a visual inspection of brake components. Battery registration clears earlier low-power fault information and matches the battery to the monitoring unit. For OBDII-compliant 12V vehicles made after 1996, the BD300 reads and clears engine fault codes and can turn off the malfunction indicator light after a repair. Its 10 OBD2 functions are 1. code reading and erasing; 2. DTC lookup; 3. live data graphs; 4. I/M readiness; 5. freeze-frame data; 6. on-board monitor tests; 7. O2 sensor tests; 8. EVAP monitor tests; 9. vehicle information, including VIN, CID and CVN; and 10. component tests. The listed BMW compatibility includes series 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, X, Z, M, I and JK, alongside MINI Cooper R Series and Rolls-Royce. The source also lists gasoline-powered vehicles from 1996 onward for engine OBD checks. Further functions for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce include live-data recording and graphing, trip analysis, acceleration, braking and distance tests, and report playback. Trip records can include driving time, distance, coolant temperature, speed, RPM, rapid braking and other driving measures. The scanner checks 12-volt battery voltage, including maximum, minimum and engine-off readings, and displays results as graphs. It works with Android and iOS devices and offers 6+ languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Chinese. Wi-Fi updates are described as free for the lifetime of the tool. Diagnostic reports can be saved, printed and shared by Bluetooth or email. The package contains 1 Bluetooth OBD2 scanner and 1 user manual.
