Handcrafted Amish construction: This decorative wishing well is part of the Cedar Outdoor Furniture Collection, built by an experienced Amish builder with more than 20 years of outdoor furniture craftsmanship. Premium material — Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar: Every component is cut from Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar, prized for its strong, distinctive scent and its soft, fine, even texture. This cedar variety is commonly used for cedar closets, cedar chests, and fence posts, and gives the furniture its natural charm. Durable, attractive finish: An oil-based outdoor sealer has been selected to enhance the cedar’s rich red tones and produce an amber warmth in the appearance. The sealer helps preserve color and resist water; the product we use is Finish Works FL5812. For outdoor placement, restain once per year to maintain the finish. If the piece sits in a partially protected spot (for example, on a porch), restain after one year and then once every 2-3 years thereafter. Improved structural design: The design has been upgraded with thicker and wider slats in the support system of each piece. Those beefed-up slats distribute weight more evenly and provide stronger support, significantly reducing the risk of sagging over time. Professionally milled for a smooth, consistent look: All planks are professionally milled to be flat, straight, and square, ensuring uniformity and a refined rustic appearance. Milling also minimizes the chance of splinters while using only high-quality material.
