NVR capabilities: The NV4108E-A2 provides 8-channel recording, an 8-port PoE switch, and uses the latest H.265 video compression to reduce storage requirements without sacrificing UltraHD quality. Playback options are 8-Channel @1080p(30fps), 4-Channel @4MP(30fps), and 2-Channel @4K(30fps). The unit supports a maximum 80Mbps incoming bandwidth and can record 8 cameras @ 4K using H.264. For optimized recording of 8 cameras at 4K, change the default codec from H.264 to H.265 and set each camera’s bit rate to 1792. Camera specifications: Each included camera is an 8MP (3840x2160) PoE bullet camera capable of 3840x2160P @15fps. They feature a 2.8mm wide angle lens with a super-wide 105° field of view, IP67 weatherproof rating, metal housing, and improved low-light performance driven by the latest CMOS image sensor and chipset. Installation and networking: Cameras connect directly to the NVR over Ethernet for power and data via Power Over Ethernet (POE camera) for easy installation (POE Injector or Switch Required; Not Included, Sold Separately). The system’s intelligent search, playback, and backup tools include motion detection event handling and exact search functions accurate to one second for faster review.
