This bundle is built around Amcrest’s NV4108E-A2 4K 8-channel PoE NVR and includes a pre-installed 4TB hard drive (supports up to 10TB). The NVR provides 8-channel recording, an 8-port PoE switch, and H.265 video compression. Playback capability: 8-channel @ 1080p (30fps) / 4-channel @ 4MP (30fps) / 2-channel @ 4K (30fps). Maximum incoming bandwidth is 80Mbps. Included cameras: eight 8MP (3840 x 2160) IP PoE outdoor metal bullet cameras (IP67) that record at 15fps. Each camera uses a progressive-scan CMOS image sensor and chipset for UltraHD 4K clarity and a 105° super-wide field of view to cover more area. The package also contains eight 60 ft Cat6 Ethernet cables for PoE connections. Installation and storage: Power over Ethernet simplifies setup by carrying power and data over a single cable. Advanced H.265 compression reduces storage needs while maintaining UltraHD quality, enabling longer retention periods. The system supports intelligent search, playback, and backup functions (including motion detection event logging and exact-search accurate to one second). AI and compatibility: The NVR has no built-in AI — AI features are supported only when using compatible AI IP cameras. The system supports up to 2 channels of AI cameras at 4K @ 30fps. Recording notes and optimization: The NVR can record 8 cameras at 4K using H.264. For optimized 8-camera 4K recording, change the default encoding to H.265 and set each camera’s bit rate to 1792.
