This Amcrest security bundle pairs an 8-channel PoE NVR with four 4K outdoor bullet cameras and a pre-installed 2TB Seagate Surveillance hard drive (supports hard drives up to 10TB). The NVR (NV4108E-A2) provides H.265 video compression, live view up to 8MP @30fps, and playback performance of 8-Channel @1080p(30fps) / 4-Channel @4MP(30fps) / 2-Channel @4K(30fps). It manages all PoE IP cameras directly over Ethernet for simple installation and supports a max 80Mbps incoming bandwidth. Note: the NVR contains no built-in AI — AI capabilities depend on the camera model used and the system only supports 2CH AI cameras at 4K@30fps. Works with Alexa through AmcrestCloud (AI features not supported with Alexa). Camera package: four 4K IP PoE outdoor bullet cameras (3840x2160) providing 4K @15fps video, a super-wide 129° field of view, and color night vision up to 49 feet. Each bullet unit includes dual illumination (Full NightColor white LED plus IR-LED), AI-assisted detection (human, face and vehicle detection, event filtering, IVS Tripwire / Intrusion), a built-in microphone for one-way audio, and a heavy-duty metal IP67 weatherproof housing. Compression options include dual H.265/H.264 support for modern efficiency and legacy compatibility. Recording guidance: the system can record 8 cameras @ 4K using H.264; for optimized 4K recording across 8 channels switch from H.264 to H.265 and set the bit rate to 1792 on each camera. Kit contents also include 4 x 60ft Cat6 Ethernet cables, a USB mouse, a network cable, and a quick start guide.
