The microfiber resists abrasion and water, helps reduce weight, maintains its fit over time and is easy to clean. Accordion flex zones at the instep and Achilles area add flexibility, comfort and control. A contoured polymer core and a medial biomechanical pivot support the boot while allowing controlled front and rear flex.

The high-modulus polymer shin plate resists impact and abrasion and has a Velcro® adjustable panel. Sculpted polymer inner panels provide contact with the bike and resist abrasion. A rear TPR gaiter sits above the TPU calf protector for protection and comfort. The Tech-5 is CE certified.

Its replaceable buckles have polymer and fiberglass arms, aluminum bridge closures, a memory setting and a self-aligning quick-release locking system. Profiled TPU buckle straps allow front flexion.
