Replacement two-piece tie rod for Allis Chalmers tractors, compatible with WD, WD45, D14, D15, D17, D19, 170 (up to sn 170-7500), 175 (up to sn 175-2035), 180, 185, 190, 190XT and 200 models. The assembly can be shortened to fit WD and WD45 units by cutting to the proper length. If installing on a CA with an adjustable wide front axle, a taper reamer must be used on the steering arms to achieve the correct fit. Dimensions and fitment details: inner tie rod measures 16-3/8" from the grease fitting to the end and has a diameter of .782". The outer tube measures 17-3/8" from the grease fitting to the end with an outside diameter of 1.56". The tie rod end tapers from .660" to .735". Direct replacement for Allis Chalmers part numbers 254661, 254662, 225279, 225280 and 249418. Can substitute for 250142 and 250141 when modified as described above.
