What is Customer Questions & Answers?

Customer Questions & Answers lets registered customers ask product-specific questions and share answers based on their experience. Questions and answers appear after moderation.

Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

Compact features-first overview: The AK980 is a full-size pink mechanical gaming keyboard with a multi-functional TFT color display, dedicated volume knob and RGB lighting. It supports GIFs via the driver and lets you switch Win/Mac modes, connection modes, backlight brightness and speed — all from the screen and knobs for quick customization during work or play. Display & controls: A built-in color TFT screen combined with a metal rotary volume knob and three multimedia keys provides on-the-fly control. The display can show custom GIF images (uploaded through the driver) and be used to adjust RGB effects, system mode (Win/Mac), connection mode and lighting brightness/velocity. Noise reduction & plate design: Inside the AK980 you'll find five layers of acoustic damping — including two layers of Poron acoustic wool, IXPE switch pads, PET sound-enhancing pads and silicone pads along the bottom — engineered to cut down on typing noise and resonance. The board also incorporates an FR4 positioning plate and a precision-designed RF-4 single-slot dipped-gold positioner plate to keep each keystroke stable and accurate. Keycaps & typing feel: Side-engraved PBT keycaps use double-injection molding and heat sublimation for durability, sweat resistance and long-lasting legends. The gradient pink-black keycap set delivers a fashionable look while side engraving allows keybacklight to shine through. The keyboard ships with pre-lubricated Avocado linear switches rated for 50 million cycles to provide smooth, quiet actuation straight out of the box. Connectivity & battery: A built-in 8000mAh rechargeable battery and low-power circuitry make the AK980 suitable for travel and extended use. Triple-mode connectivity covers Bluetooth 5.0, wireless 2.4G and Type-C wired, and the keyboard can pair with multiple device types (desktop computers, smartphones, tablets and laptops). Build & customization: The AK980 features gasket mounting for a softer, more cushioned typing feel and includes hot-swappable switch support compatible with 3/5pin stems for easy customization. Additional comfort and sound tuning are provided by the gasket construction and five layers of noise-reducing padding. Extras & durability: The keyboard includes multimedia controls, hot-swap capability for enthusiasts, and rugged double-shot PBT keycaps in an AK980 wireless keyboard form factor for long-term resistance to wear and a refined aesthetic. A gift switch is included with the package for added value.
