Compact, metal-housed charger engineered for 48V lithium battery packs using NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) chemistry. The Aegis Battery 48V 10A NMC Lithium Battery Charger delivers a 54.6V, 10A output and uses a PP45 Anderson charging connector. It employs a CC/CV (constant current / constant voltage) charging profile tailored for 48V Li-ion systems and is best paired with batteries of 40Ah capacity or larger. Physical & electrical specs: weight 1.75 kg (3.86 lb); dimensions 8.3 in. x 4.7 in. x 2.6 in.; normal charge current 10.0 Amps. Operating charge temperature range is 0°C to 45°C, and storage humidity is specified at 60±25% R.H. Built-in safety features include overheat protection, overpower protection, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and reverse-connection protection. Note: these charger protections are provided in addition to, and not a replacement for, protections implemented by the battery pack BMS.
