It supports up to 40Gbps over multimode fiber (MMF) using 850nm optics and delivers reach of up to 400m via MPO connectors. Built for 40Gigabit Ethernet environments, this module helps maintain high performance while minimizing power draw and CPU overhead. Designed for short-reach, intra-building deployments, the multi-mode fiber format is well suited for server-to-server, switch interconnects and audio/video data transport between network components. The QSFP+ module is hot-swappable for easy replacement and improved uptime, and includes DOM (Digital Optical Monitoring) for real-time optical performance monitoring.
