AcuRite 01024 Weather Stations sku-450195483 Black

The AcuRite Iris HD 01024 is a Black Weather Stations item listed as NO SIZE, sku-450195483, UPC 072397010245. Its wireless outdoor sensor measures temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall and barometric pressure. A self-calibrating forecast uses elevation and pressure data to predict conditions 12 hours ahead.

Mount the sensor with the included hardware within 330 feet of the indoor display; readings update every 18 to 36 seconds. A separate outdoor lightning sensor estimates storm distance, tracks strikes within a 25-mile radius and keeps daily, weekly and monthly counts. The auto-dimming TFT display switches between outdoor weather, indoor conditions and daily records.

Its controls provide heat index, wind chill, dew point, feels-like temperature and rainfall records for the current week, month and year. Adjustable alerts cover temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation and pressure drops. The clock adjusts for daylight saving time and has an alarm.

The display uses the included 5 V adapter; the outdoor weather and lightning sensors each require four AA batteries, which are not included. AcuRite is based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and has operated since 1943.
