The ACR Electronics 3947 SM-3 is an Orange, Unisex Boating lifebuoy light. This LED strobe self-rights and activates in water to mark a crew-overboard location. Its minimum light intensity is 3 candelas throughout its operating life. It uses 2 user-replaceable AA lithium batteries. The supplied bracket holds the light in place and uses the same mounting-hole pattern as the SM-2 bracket, allowing a retrofit without an adapter plate. The light is USCG/MED/SOLAS approved.
