ACR Electronics 2358 Camping Gear sku-960546171 Kit

ACR Electronics 2358 ResQFlare Camping Gear, SKU sku-960546171, UPC 791659023587, is a Yellow, Regular-size, Unisex boat distress kit. It includes a high-intensity LED electronic flare and a daytime distress flag. Carried together, they are certified to meet applicable U.S.

Coast Guard requirements for use instead of traditional pyrotechnic flares on most boats in the U.S., avoiding the need to buy or dispose of those flares. The flare resists fire, oil, fungus and corrosion. For daytime signaling, the flag can be attached to a mast, hoisted, held, waved from a boat hook, paddle or fishing rod, or laid flat on deck for aircraft to see.

The included C-Strobe H2O has 3 modes: strobe, steady-on and SOS. Its 45-lumen LED typically runs continuously for 120 hours in strobe mode. A button turns it on, or it can activate automatically when immersed in water while armed. The Coast Guard-approved, dual-tone whistle can help locate someone overboard or aid a land rescue.

It sounds at up to 100 decibels, has a flat design that does not hold water, and comes with a 31.5-inch (80 cm) lanyard for attaching to a life jacket, raft or other weather gear.
