Frameless flush-mount in-ceiling speakers engineered for broad sound dispersion and seamless integration with new or existing audio systems. These are passive speakers designed to be driven directly from your home audio receiver or amplifier. Full-range 3-way design: 6.5" High Rigidity Poly cone woofers with progressive spiders and butyl rubber surrounds, mylar midranges and .5" mylar tweeters coupled to 3-way passive crossovers for improved fidelity. Frequency response is 45Hz-20 kHz with a sensitivity of 92dB at 8ohm. Frameless appearance is achieved with paintable, edge-to-edge grills that attach magnetically over the frame. A pressure-lock mounting system secures the speakers to drywall. Cut-out (round) speaker hole size required is 8.27" with a mounting depth of 2.99" and an overall diameter of 8.86". Connections are via spring-loaded raw wire terminals. System requirements: any home audio receiver or amp with raw speaker wire outputs; recommended amplifier power per channel is no less than 10 and no more than 250 watts. Use CL3 rated in-wall certified raw speaker wire for the connection between receiver and speakers.
