Frameless, flush-mount in-ceiling speaker set designed to blend into new or existing audio systems. These passive speakers are driven directly from your home audio receiver or amplifier using raw speaker wire. Full-range 3-way performance: 6.5" High Rigidity Poly cone woofers with progressive spiders and butyl rubber surrounds, mylar midranges and .5" mylar tweeters, plus 3-way passive crossovers. Frequency response is 45Hz-20 kHz with 92dB at 8ohm. The paintable edge-to-edge grills attach magnetically for a seamless, frameless look. A pressure-lock mounting system clamps securely to drywall; fits a round speaker hole size of 8.27" with a mounting depth of 2.99" and an overall diameter of 8.86". Connections use spring-loaded raw wire terminals. System requirements: any home audio receiver or amp with raw speaker wire outputs; recommended amplifier power no less than 10 and no more than 250 watts per channel. Use CL3 rated in-wall certified raw speaker wire to connect the receiver to the speakers.
