These are passive speakers driven by a home audio receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire outputs. Audio performance: Full-range 3-way design featuring 6.5" High Rigidity Poly cone woofers with progressive spiders and butyl rubber surrounds, mylar midranges and .5" mylar tweeters. 3-way passive crossovers provide improved fidelity. Frequency response: 45Hz-20 kHz with 92dB at 8ohm. Design & installation: Edge-to-edge, paintable grills attach magnetically for a clean, frameless look. The pressure-lock mounting system clamps securely to drywall. Requires a round speaker hole size of 8.27" and a mounting depth of 2.99"; overall diameter is 8.86". Connections use spring-loaded raw wire terminals. System requirements: Any home audio receiver or amp with raw speaker wire outputs. Recommended amplifier power is no less than 10 and no more than 250 watts per channel. Use CL3 rated in wall certified raw speaker wire to run the connection between receiver and speakers.
