Five-piece frameless in-ceiling speaker package from Acoustic Audio (CSic64) engineered for home theater, whole-house audio or commercial installations. These are passive, flush-mount speakers—simply connect to any receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire outputs. Drivers and sound: Each speaker uses a 6.5" High Rigidity Poly cone woofer with progressive spiders and butyl rubber surrounds, complemented by mylar midranges and .5" mylar tweeters. A 3-way passive crossover provides improved fidelity. Rated frequency response is 45Hz-20 kHz with a sensitivity of 92dB at 8ohm. Design and installation: Paintable edge-to-edge grills attach magnetically for a true frameless appearance. The pressure-lock mounting system clamps securely to drywall. Cut-out fits a round speaker hole size of 8.27" with a mounting depth of 2.99" and an overall diameter of 8.86". Spring-loaded raw wire connections make wiring straightforward. System requirements and safety: Works with any home audio receiver or amp that has raw speaker wire outputs. Recommended amplifier power is no less than 10 and no more than 250 watts per channel.
