Package of 14 Acoustic Audio CS-IC63 in-ceiling speakers designed for flush-mount home theater and whole-house audio installations. These passive speakers provide wide sound dispersion and are intended to be driven directly from a home audio receiver or amplifier with raw speaker wire outputs. Audio design: Full-range 3-way performance using 6.5" High Rigidity Poly cone woofers with progressive spiders and butyl rubber surrounds, Poly Mica midrange drivers and 13mm soft dome tweeters. Each speaker includes 3-way passive crossovers for improved fidelity. Rated frequency response is 45Hz-20 kHz with 93dB at 8ohm. Installation details: Pressure-lock mounting system clamps securely to drywall for tool-free installation. Required round cutout diameter is 7.87" with a mounting depth of 3.43" and an overall outer diameter of 9.17". Connection is via spring-loaded raw wire terminals. Housings and grills are molded from durable ABS and the grills can be painted to match your décor. System requirements and safety: Use any home audio receiver or amp that provides raw speaker wire outputs. Recommended amplifier power is no less than 10 and no more than 300 watts per channel. Use CL3 rated in-wall certified raw speaker wire to run the connection between your receiver and the speakers.
