The filter also shields the pump from clogging and prevents fish from contacting the pump impeller. The included pump is low-noise and designed for small ponds; it features dry-running protection so the unit will automatically stop if water level is too low or there is no water. Powered by a Grade A+ 8W solar panel made from 100% glass, the system converts sunlight efficiently — note the pump will not operate without sunlight (for example at night or during heavy rain). For varied water effects the kit includes a double-layer nozzle plus 8 different types of nozzles and a 5ft tubing, allowing you to create fountains, waterfalls, bubblers, streams or other DIY circulation patterns.
