Overview — Model IV8W: A portable HD coaxial tester built for field installation and maintenance of Analog (CVBS) and HD coaxial cameras with AHD (NOT Support IP Camera). The compact mini monitor is designed for technicians who need a lightweight, on-site testing tool with multiple input options and power provision for cameras. Multi-input capability: Connect a variety of sources including VGA and CVBS. The unit accepts VGA video signal input, a 1.0 signal input, and provides dedicated BNC ports for analog/HD coaxial cameras. It also supports RS485 data searching and PTZ control for full camera setup and diagnostics. Power and lighting: The tester supplies DC12V (1A) output power to a camera for demonstration and testing when external power is not available. An integrated LED lamp helps illuminate installations during work in low-light conditions. Display: A high-resolution 5.0 inches 800 (RGB) x480 LCD with a wide viewing angle delivers clear, intuitive camera image assessment so you can verify picture quality on-site. Image generator & video formats: The built-in multi-format video OUT image generator can output common standards (e.g. PAL, NTSC) and produce color test patterns to check and calibrate camera inputs and pickup devices — simply connect the tester to the device with the cable. Network and cable diagnostics: The UTP CABLE TEST port enables enhanced network cable testing to verify wiring and connections during installation. Camera signal support: - AHD camera test: 1 channel AHD input (BNC interface), 720P25/30/50/60,1080P3MP/4MP and 5MP 25/30,8MP. When an AHD signal is present the tester will display the camera image. - TVI input: 1 channel TVI input (BNC interface), support 720P25/30/50/60,1080P3MP/4MPand 5MP 25/30,8MP. - CVI camera test: 1 channel CVI input (BNC interface), support 720P25/30/50/60,1080P25/30,3MP and 4MP12.5/20,5MP, 8MP CVI camera input. Additional functions: The tester provides video display, PTZ control, image generation, DC12V output, RS485 data searching, cable testing and other on-site utilities to streamline camera setup and troubleshooting. Battery & usage note: The device will warn when the battery is low. Do not use the tester under overload. Recharge the unit when prompted; it cannot be used while charging. Use the tester only after it has been fully charged.
