PCI-Express 2.0 x1 serial expansion card with eight DB9 connectors supporting RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 communications. Plug-and-play setup automatically selects IRQ and I/O addresses for straightforward installation. Supports 8 independent DB9 RS232 serial ports and does not support legacy address re-mapping. Built for high throughput with Oxford Semiconductor 950 UARTS and a built-in 16C550 compatible UART that includes a 16 byte transmit-receive FIFO. Includes automated in-band Xon/Xoff flow control plus automated hardware flow control to maintain reliable data transfer.
