Unbranded Hand Tools: 8-piece pliers | sku-18801502923

Unbranded Hand Tools, sku-18801502923, UPC 757047178444. This 8-piece set contains 4 water pump pliers and 4 adjustable wrenches, with one of each tool in 6", 8", 10" and 12" sizes. The source title also lists “216 – Tools & Hardware Other.” The pliers have V-jaws for gripping square, flat, round and hexagonal pipes, nuts or bolts. Grooves in the jaws help hold the workpiece and reduce slipping.

Their ergonomic bi-material handles are shaped for a comfortable grip and to reduce hand fatigue. The wrenches have knurled worm gears that adjust the jaws smoothly without jamming, with closely spaced slots to help the jaws stay at the selected opening. Each wrench has a laser-etched SAE scale and a mirror-polished finish to make the markings easier to read.

The pliers' maximum openings are 1", 1-1/2", 2" and 2-1/4"; the wrenches' maximum openings are 13/16", 1-1/16", 1-3/16" and 1-7/16". Both tool types are made from drop-forged steel. The set is intended for home tasks including automotive maintenance and repair, plumbing and general assembly.
