8/3 SOOW Cable - 250 Feet, 600V, 30 AWG Flexible Copper

Manufactured in the USA for demanding environments, this 8/3 SOOW cable (250 Feet) is NEC 400 and NFPA 70 permitted and MSHA approved. It also meets REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65 requirements and is FT-5 flame tested. Ideal applications include portable power, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and any situation that requires a rugged, heavy-duty flexible cable. Construction and materials: extremely flexible 30 AWG SAE pure copper conductors (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) with color-coded, highly flexible EPDM insulation on the internal conductors. The cable is finished with a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE insulation jacket. Electrical and environmental specifications: rated for up to 600 volts. Temperature range: -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F). Oil resistant temperature rating: 60°C (140°F). Rated for indoor and outdoor use. Insulation resists abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water. Rated for outdoor use and meets or exceeds the 720 hour UV resistant aging test.
