8/3 SOOW Cable — 175 Feet, Heavy-Duty 600V, CPE Jacket, Oil & UV Resistant

Made in the USA and built for demanding environments. This 8/3 SOOW flexible cable (175 Feet) is permitted under NEC 400 and NFPA 70 and carries MSHA approval. It is compliant with REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65 standards and has passed FT-5 flame testing. Construction and materials: each conductor is 30 AWG SAE pure copper (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) with extremely flexible EPDM color-coded insulation; the assembly is protected by a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE outer jacket. Electrical and temperature ratings: rated up to 600 volts; operating temperature range -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F); oil-resistant temperature rating 60°C (140°F). Durability and resistances: suitable for indoor and outdoor use; resists abrasion, flame, water, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid and extreme temperatures. Also meets or exceeds a 720 hour UV resistant aging test. Recommended uses include portable power and extension cords, heavy equipment and construction machinery, motor and welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining applications, and any situation requiring a rugged, heavy-duty flexible cable.
