8/3 SOOW Cable — 150 Feet, 30 AWG SAE Copper, 600 volts

Manufactured in the USA and approved for MSHA use, this 8/3 SOOW cable is NEC 400 and NFPA 70 permitted and carries FT-5 flame test recognition. It is compliant with REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65. Built for demanding environments, it’s suitable for portable power, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, shallow water immersion, mining environments, and other applications that require a rugged, heavy-duty flexible cable. Construction and materials: 30 AWG SAE pure copper conductors (rope-lay, bunch-stranded) made from extremely flexible 30 AWG copper strands; conductors are insulated with color-coded, highly flexible EPDM. The outer jacket is a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE insulation. Electrical and environmental ratings: Rated for up to 600 volts. Temperature range: -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F); oil-resistant temperature rating: 60°C (140°F). Rated for indoor and outdoor use and proven to meet or exceed the 720 hour UV resistant aging test. Chemical and physical resistance: Insulation and jacket resist abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water.
