8/3 SOOW Cable — 15 Feet Heavy-Duty Flexible Power Cord

Made in the USA. This SOOW cord is NEC 400 and NFPA 70 permitted and MSHA approved, and meets REACH, RoHS, CMRT and Prop 65 requirements. FT-5 Flame Tested. Constructed with 30 AWG SAE pure copper conductors (rope-lay, bunch-stranded). Internal conductors are insulated with color-coded, extremely flexible EPDM insulation and the cable is sheathed in a durable, abrasion-resistant CPE insulation jacket. Electrical and environmental ratings: rated for up to 600 volts; operating temperature range -40°C (-40°F) to 90°C (194°F) with an oil-resistant temperature rating of 60°C (140°F). Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including shallow water immersion and mining environments. The insulation is formulated to resist abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, and water. Meets or exceeds a 720 hour UV resistant aging test. Typical applications include portable power, extension cords, heavy equipment, construction machinery, motor leads, welding leads, portable lighting, battery chargers, and other uses that require a rugged, heavy-duty flexible cable.
