Lite and Normal themes let users change icons, the desktop background and sliding effects; screen management supports icon reordering and new directories. Built-in Wi-Fi displays wireless cameras and creates a hotspot. Rapid IP scan automatically searches a whole network or network device IP addresses without requiring the first two digits of a camera's IP, and the tester can automatically change its own IP address.

Rapid video mode automatically scans for IP cameras and provides one-key viewing. TesterPlay can display the tester's screen simultaneously on the tester, a PC and mobile devices; a phone running TesterPlay or a PC running VLC can receive its real-time stream. Tests include a 12V power input test and a CVBS loop test that receives and sends color bars to check BNC cables.

Traffic monitoring for the Lan port shows connection status, upload and download speeds and other network parameters. Security options include password and pattern screen locks. A shortcut button and drop-down menu provide access to the PoE power switch, IP settings, WLAN switch, IN functions and screen lock. The built-in Quick Office app supports editable excel, word and ppt documents.

The tester also includes file management tools for CCTV installation and maintenance.
