Auto-negotiation automatically detects link speeds and adjusts across three speeds (100Mb/1G/2.5G) for compatibility and best performance. Traffic management includes 802.1p QoS with 8 priority levels and Flow Control to reduce packet loss and improve overall reliability. The metal housing and fanless design enhance heat dissipation and durability while keeping operation quiet; IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) helps lower power use. Setup is simple—plug & play with no software required—and the switch is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat6 cabling; per-port LED indicators show link status.
