It has 5 operating modes: Startup, Grid-tied begin, Standby, Stop and Fault-find. Startup requires the start button to be engaged and normal solar-panel and grid connections. Grid-tied begin converts PV-supplied DC to a stable AC waveform and delivers it to the grid using MPPT tracking.

The unit enters Standby when PV power is insufficient or voltage, frequency or temperature falls outside allowed ranges. A prolonged lack of sunlight moves it to standby; if DC voltage stays below 12V for more than 1 minute, it enters Stop mode. Fault-find detects and handles fault conditions. Built-in protective logic covers these operating states.
