6-Pack GHMT Tool-Free Shielded Cat8 RJ45 Termination Plugs (22–24 AWG, 7.0–8.5 mm)

Designed for Cat 8 channel deployments, these GHMT tool-free RJ45 termination plugs provide Cat8 performance for 10GBASE-T, 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T channel-compatible networks up to 30 meters. GHMT Cat 8 channel performance verification ensures they meet stringent channel requirements. Fully backward compatible with Cat 6 (Cat6), Cat 6A (Cat6A) and Cat 7 (Cat7A) Ethernet and compatible with Cat 6A or Cat 7 connectors. The one-piece metal shell with an integrated muffler cylinder suppresses NEXT and AXT electromagnetic noise and crossover wires, while the die-cast shell construction offers excellent shielding and reduced crosstalk. A screw-in metal strain relief preserves cable integrity and improves overall shielding performance. Each plug includes an IP20 rated dust cover to protect RJ45 contacts during transport or storage. These metal-shell RJ45 field plugs are suitable for Cat 8-channel network switch and server connections and support 22 AWG to 24 AWG shielded Cat8 wire with an outer diameter between 7.0 and 8.5 mm. PoE plus conforms to IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE+) applications. They support Cat 8 auto-negotiation for Cat8 Ethernet cable in hybrid networks, allowing link speeds to negotiate to 1 GB switch, 10 GB switch or 40 GB switch. The RJ45 connector used with the impact tool features an open hinge design to simplify placement and termination of bulky shielded cables; the modular insert supports T568A or T568B wiring and the termination cover is color-coded.
