The unit has a 10-inch width and overall dimensions of 11x7.8x16 inches, a space-efficient footprint suitable for small offices, home environments, or larger enterprises seeking to save space. It conforms to the 8U standard (1U = 1.75 inches; 8U = 14 inches) so it accommodates standard rackmount devices. The primary structure is die-cast aluminum with a 10mm thickness, providing the strength to hold heavy IT hardware such as UPS and NAS. An open design gives full access to installed devices, simplifies installation and maintenance, and promotes airflow for better cooling and reliable operation.
