4 Inch Heavy Duty High Temp Phenolic Caster Set with Roller Bearings and Brakes

These Service Caster Series #35 High Temperature Phenolic casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 4” Wheel: 5-5/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/2” mounting height; 6” wheel: 7-1/2” mounting height; 8" wheel: 9-1/2" mounting height. Weight capacity ranges from 800 lbs on the 4” caster, 1000 lbs on the 5”, 1200 lbs on the 6” and 1250 lbs. on the 8”. Top plate measures at 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" with a bolt hole pattern of 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" and can either be bolted or welded on. Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle. Combining both brake types ensures complete immobility over both swivel and wheel on the caster.
