It is intended for passenger cars and SUVs, including CUVs; some sizes are available for high-performance vehicles.

The self-supporting tire can travel up to 50 miles after a puncture at a maximum of 50 miles per hour. Its all-season compound and asymmetric tread provide dry, wet and winter-road grip. Stiffer outboard shoulder blocks support cornering and braking, while the inboard section targets grip in poor weather.

A zero-degree draft angle, circumferential grooves and open shoulder slots help resist hydroplaning. The tire is rated Mud & Snow (M+S) and can perform in light snow. Warranty listings state a 65000 Mi treadlife warranty and a 65,000-mile treadwear warranty. Bridgestone Tire Company Ltd was founded in Japan in 1931 and bought Firestone in 1988.
