Bridgestone makes tires for passenger cars, sports cars, motorcycles, light trucks, SUVs, crossovers and commercial vans. The studless ice and snow BLIZZAK DM-V2 is intended for pickups, crossovers and SUVs. Its design addresses traction in slush, snow and ice, braking on ice, wet-road handling and hydroplaning resistance.

It meets severe snow service requirements and carries the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF). Its adaptive NanoPro Tech Multicell compound has a hydrophilic coating and microscopic bite particles. The compound stays flexible below freezing and moves water off packed snow and ice; the particles aid grip and braking on glare ice.

A directional tread has 15% more aggressive block edges than the DM-V1 it replaces. Wide lateral and circumferential grooves channel water, slush and snow away from the contact area, while 3-dimensional zigzag sipes add biting edges. The listing states a standard mileage warranty.
