3KW Precision Thermostat for Electric Water Heater — Swimming Pool, SPA, Bathtub & Hot Tub

Precision thermostat for 3KW electric water heaters used with swimming pools, spas, bathtubs and hot tubs. Features an initial adjustable temperature setting and an ultra-high temperature protection switch to prevent overheating and protect users. Operation is fully automatic: turn the control clockwise to switch heating on (indicator light illuminates); once the preset temperature is reached the unit holds that temperature. The thermostat maintains temperatures within a limit not exceeding 40 °C (104 °F). When cold water is introduced, temperature will rise at a rate of 6 ~ 8 °C / h. Automatic cycling behavior: the heater runs until the set temperature is reached, then stops until the temperature drops a few degrees, at which point it restarts. If temperature exceeds over 49 °C, the ultra-high temperature switch will automatically trip (power off).
