Overview: 3kw portable electric thermostat designed for pools, spas and bathtubs. Provides automated temperature control with built-in overheat protection to keep water at a safe, consistent level. Initial setup and safety check: After installation, perform a safety inspection to confirm the thermostat functions correctly before normal use. Fill the tub or pool to the appropriate water level and start the unit so it can run an automatic self-check. Allow the system to reach its highest stable state until the display lights go out; an accurate thermometer should then read 40 °C. Automated control and operation: Turn the thermostat clockwise to activate heating—the indicator light will illuminate while heating is on. The unit will heat to the preset temperature and then hold that temperature automatically. When the water temperature drops by a few degrees, the thermostat will restart heating to return to the setpoint. Performance: When starting from cold water, expect a temperature rise of about 6 ~ 8 °C / h. The thermostat is designed to maintain water temperature up to, but not exceeding, 40 °C (104 °F). Over-temperature protection: If the unit detects an ultra-high temperature (over 49 °C), the dedicated over-temperature switch will trip and cut power automatically to prevent overheating.
