3KW Electric Thermostat for Swimming Pool, Spa & Hot Tub — Automated Heating with Overheat Protection

3KW electric thermostat designed for use with swimming pools, bathtubs, spas and massage hot tubs. It provides fully automatic temperature control and built-in safety features to prevent overheating. The unit includes an ultra-high temperature protection switch to limit excessive heat and protect users. Operation is automatic: turn the control clockwise to activate heating; an indicator light illuminates while the element is on. Once the water reaches the preset temperature the heater will hold that level. During a cold-water start the temperature will rise at approximately 6 ~ 8 °C/h. The thermostat is capable of maintaining the water at temperatures not exceeding 40 °C (104 °F). The thermostat cycles automatically — it heats until the setpoint is reached, then stops; when the temperature falls a few degrees it will restart heating. If the temperature climbs above 49 °C, the ultra-high temperature switch will trip and cut power to the unit for safety.
