Compact 3KW electric thermostat designed for hot tubs, spas, bathtubs and pool heaters. The unit includes an ultra-high temperature protection switch at initial setup to prevent overheating and protect users. To activate heating, turn the control clockwise — an indicator light shows when the element is on. The heater will reach the preset temperature and hold it, then cycle automatically: it stops after reaching the set point and restarts once the water temperature drops by a few degrees. The thermostat is intended to maintain temperatures not exceeding 40 °C (104 °F). After adding cold water, temperature recovery occurs at a rate of 6 ~ 8 °C/h. If the water exceeds ultra-high temperature (over 49 °C), the safety switch will trip and cut power automatically.
