Color Tree's Cardstock 310gsm A4 Sheets sku-18479715204

Color Tree's Cardstock MDA05, SKU sku-18479715204, UPC 205616516529, is black-core A4 stock for making playing cards. This 310gsm option contains 20 sheets, not 25, despite an error in the variant selector. The title also describes the sheets as 8.5 by 11 inches. Each sheet fits 9 poker-size cards measuring 63 by 88mm. The smooth silk finish is matte with a slight shine, not embossed or linen.

Its coating prevents most inkjet ink from absorbing. Use a back-fed laser printer or UV inkjet printer and check the printer's supported paper thickness; the stock will jam any printer that is not back-fed and is incompatible with non-UV inkjet printers. On a laser printer, use the highest thickness setting to reduce toner flaking, and adjust printer and color settings as needed.

Melted toner can provide a water-resistant, varnish-like layer. The 330gsm stock at .34mm is closest to MTG cards; the 310gsm stock at .3mm is closest to PKMN cards. Commercial-quality results call for a UV printer that applies ink and varnish; some flatbed or roll DTF printers can also be used for hot stamping or foiling.
